The Golden Stage
Broadway Open Stage Studio basically said "our name has Broadway in it, so obviously we need a gold dancer in a top hat."
Overview
This design was printed in shimmery gold on a black long sleeve tee. A simple line drawing of a dancer in a top hat strikes a pose above the studio name, done in elegant script that fades from gold to coral at the end. "open stage studio" sits below in clean sans serif to balance things out. The whole design centers on the chest with just enough sparkle to catch stage lights without looking overdone.
Results
The shirt was designed to give the studio a logo piece they could use for everything from class to recital weekend. The gold shimmer was meant to feel theatrical without being too costume like, something dancers could wear outside the studio. The goal was to match the Broadway theme of the studio name while keeping it wearable for everyday use.
