TFL CrossFit: Murph Ask Me How They Lived

Murph is hard. That's the point. TFL CrossFit does it every Memorial Day to remember the people who gave more than a hard workout. This shirt was made for those members and that moment.

Overview

Printed in white on a heather red tee, the front keeps it bold and minimal — large block letters spelling out TFL with three stars and "CrossFit" underneath. The back does the talking: a battlefield cross illustration with combat boots, rifle, and helmet sits center, flanked by a vertical "MURPH 25" running up the left side and the line "Ask Me How They Lived... Not How They Died" across the bottom. The heather red garment was a deliberate call — it reads patriotic without being loud, and the white ink stays sharp against it at every size.

The battlefield cross is one of the most recognized symbols of military sacrifice, and putting it on the back of a Murph shirt gives members something to carry with them long after the workout ends. The tagline does real work too — it shifts the conversation from loss to legacy. These are the kinds of crossfit shirts and gym shirts people keep in rotation because they mean something every time they put them on.
