CrossFit Whiteboard: Murph Remember Why

Every gym has a whiteboard. CrossFit Whiteboard has a whole identity built around it. For Murph, they wanted a shirt that carried the same weight as the workout itself — something people would earn, not just wear.

Overview

The back leads with a massive "MURPH" wordmark with all five movements woven vertically through the letters, then closes with a motivational line that lands without being preachy. Everything is printed in bold black ink on a military green tee, a color that needs no explanation on Memorial Day. The front keeps it clean with the gym's logo in a bold plus hand-lettered type combo. Front chest logo and full back graphic is standard placement, but the typographic concept on the back makes it anything but standard.

Results

The workout breakdown inside the letters means members will actually read it every time they put it on. Military green ages well and looks intentional, not like a freebie. It's the kind of gym shirt that ends up in the regular rotation long after Memorial Day is over.
