Ouroboros CrossFit: Murph Trident Standard
Murph is one of the hardest workouts in CrossFit, and it was named after one of the bravest people to ever wear a uniform. Ouroboros CrossFit wanted a shirt that understood both of those things at the same time.
Overview
The back graphic centers on the Navy SEAL trident rendered in a bold vintage illustration style, complete with wings, anchor, and a worn ink texture that gives it an old military poster feel. "MURPH 25" sits above it in heavy distressed type with olive green accent stars, and the full workout breakdown runs along the bottom. The front keeps it clean with the gym name stacked in bold block letters across the chest. All of it is printed in black and olive on a natural sand tee, a pairing that keeps the design feeling earned rather than loud.
Results
The Navy SEAL trident is one of the most recognized military insignia there is, so building the design around it gives these Murph shirts an immediate sense of weight and purpose. The natural garment color separates it from the usual run of crossfit shirts and gym shirts. The goal was something that still feels worth pulling out of the drawer long after Memorial Day is over.
