CrossFit 404: Plate Up

Murph is done in a vest. Might as well put the vest on the shirt.

Overview

Single light blue ink on a heather royal blue tee — tone on tone. The entire front is a large detailed illustration of a tactical plate carrier vest, rendered with camo texture, MOLLE webbing, and strap hardware. "MURPH 24" sits as a patch on the chest panel and the CF 404 badge lands as a velcro circle on the vest itself. The illustration fills the shirt like the vest would fill a torso. Subtle from a distance, detailed up close.

Results

The tone on tone approach makes this one of the more understated murph shirts in the portfolio and that restraint is exactly what makes it work. People who know the workout recognize the vest immediately. People who don't still wear a great looking crossfit shirt. It functions either way and that is hard to pull off.
