Carpe Diem CrossFit: Murph Shot 14 Times
Carpe Diem CrossFit doesn't do Murph for the t-shirt. They do it because it matters. This one just makes sure you remember why.
Overview
Printed on a heather blue tee, the back design takes an editorial approach, leading with a bold headline that reads "Lt. Murphy Was Shot 14 Times" set in a mix of gold and navy block lettering. A faded American flag photo treatment of Lt. Murphy runs alongside a narrative block that tells the story behind the workout in plain language. The front left chest keeps it clean with the Carpe Diem logo mark. The heather blue garment color ties the whole thing together, nodding to military dress blues without being heavy handed about it. These crossfit shirts wear the story, not just the gym name.
Results
Most gym shirts get worn once and forgotten. This one gets kept. The back design does something most Murph t-shirts don't — it tells people who don't already know the story exactly what happened and why it matters. Members will finish the workout wearing this and want to hold onto it, which is exactly what a good Murph shirt should do.
