CF 404: Murph Graphic Novel

Lt. Michael Murphy gave everything. Every Memorial Day, CrossFit gyms all over the country show up to give what they can. This shirt was built to carry that weight.

Overview

The back is a full illustrated poster in a graphic novel style: bold ink lines, a soldier portrait, an American flag, panel borders, and the full Murph workout listed in banner strips along the bottom. "MURPH 24" anchors the top right in heavy block type beside a "We Honor 6.28.2005" badge. All of it is printed in black on a natural heather tee, a pairing that gives the ink a worn, editorial feel. The front stays clean with the gym name and location in simple block type across the chest.

Results

The graphic novel format makes these Murph shirts stand out in a sea of distressed flags and bold wordmarks. The illustrated soldier and the date stamp give it real meaning without saying too much. These are the kind of crossfit shirts people hold onto long after the workout is a distant, painful memory.
