Copper Valley Strength: Coyote Edition

Copper Valley Strength shows up for Murph because the people they honor showed up for all of us. They wanted their gym shirts to reflect that without overthinking it.

Overview

Printed on a coyote brown tee, the front stacks "20," "MURPH," and "25" in three oversized rows that fill the chest. The "20" and "25" are set in a large rounded display font in olive gold, while "MURPH" cuts across the middle in a rougher forest green stencil face with small stars at each corner. The layering of the two type styles and two colors gives the design a lot of depth for something that simple. On the back, the Copper Valley Strength octopus badge logo sits centered at the upper yoke in the same olive gold, tone on tone against the brown. The coyote brown garment is doing real work here. It is a military field color that makes the whole thing feel earned rather than designed, and it sets these murph tshirts apart from anything else in the gym shirt space.

Results

The stacked type layout makes this one of the more visually interesting crossfit shirts in the Murph category without relying on flags or dog tags to get there. The two tone olive and forest green palette against coyote brown feels genuinely military without being a costume. Members at Copper Valley Strength ended up with a gym shirt that looks like it belongs in a collection, not a donation bin.
