CrossFit 620: Murph Gold Standard

Murph is not a workout people do for fun. They do it out of respect. CrossFit 620 wanted their community to carry that into Memorial Day with a shirt built to match the weight of the day.

Overview

Printed in antique gold ink on a dark steel blue unisex tee, the back centers on a distressed American flag with combat boots and a helmet, a classic boots on the ground memorial image. Bold vertical "MURPH" lettering in a condensed stencil font runs down the right side while the Murph rep list sits in a box to the left. The front left chest carries the CrossFit 620 kettlebell logo in the same gold tone. Steel blue and gold is a serious combination that reads military without being loud about it, and it wears well outside the gym too.

Results

These murph t shirts were built to be kept, not donated. The memorial boot imagery connects directly to why people show up for Murph in the first place, which gives the shirt meaning the workout already earned. Gold on navy is an easy color combo to reach for year round, so these crossfit shirts actually stay in rotation. For a gym that takes the day seriously, this one fits.
