CrossFit Acadiana: Wildflowers

CrossFit Acadiana put a Bible verse on the back of a gym shirt and made it look like the most natural thing in the world.

Overview

Printed in dusty rose on a heather navy tee, the front carries a clean spaced "CrossFit Acadiana" wordmark in a tall serif style and the back features a circular wildflower botanical illustration with "Consider How the Wildflowers Grow" and "Luke 12:27" arched around it. The delicate line art floral and the soft pink on navy combination is understated and refined. Left chest front placement keeps it subtle and the back does the storytelling.

Results

The wildflower design gives this shirt an identity that goes well beyond a standard gym tee. The faith-based copy resonates deeply with members for whom that is part of their identity and the design is beautiful enough that people who are not familiar with the verse will still want to wear it. That kind of broad appeal is rare and hard to manufacture.
