CrossFit Zachary: Murph Sand & Stripes

Every gym that does Murph on Memorial Day is saying something without words. CrossFit Zachary made sure their people had something on their backs that said it just as clearly.

Overview

Printed in dark charcoal and white on a natural sand tee, the front graphic layers a stencil portrait of Lt. Murphy over a bold horizontal flag stripe pattern. "MURPH 26" runs vertically along the left edge in condensed block type, and a row of white stars anchors the upper right. The sand garment does the heavy lifting here — it keeps the whole thing feeling worn in and warm rather than stark. A standard full front placement gives the composition enough room to breathe.

Results

The portrait treatment is one of the more meaningful directions a Murph shirt can take because it puts a face to the name.
