Dire Wolf Athletics: Woodland Edition

Dire Wolf Athletics does Murph to honor the people who ran toward the fight. These gym shirts were made to look the part.

Overview

Printed on a military green performance tee, the front centers "MURPH" in large block letters filled with a multi-tone woodland camo pattern in olive, tan, and dark green. Five small stars and a stacked "25" in matching camo sit below the text, everything rendered in the same earth tones as the garment itself. The back carries the Dire Wolf Athletics wolf kettlebell logo centered at the upper yoke, tone on tone in the same olive green, barely visible unless the light hits it right. The all-green palette is the whole concept. Garment color, camo fill, logo, stars all living in the same family of military green. There is not a single contrast color on these murph tshirts anywhere and that is what makes them work. They feel like they were issued, not designed.

Results

The fully tonal approach puts this crossfit shirt in a category by itself in the Murph lineup. It reads as serious and intentional in a way that louder shirts cannot match. Dire Wolf Athletics ended up with a Murph shirt that looks like it belongs on a veteran and wears just as well on anyone who showed up and did the work.
