Honor the Fallen

Impact Fitness tilted the flag, ran a banner straight through it, and let the message speak for itself.

Overview

Printed on a navy racerback performance tank, the front graphic is a rotated American flag — star field upper left, stripes running diagonally across the chest — in a muted dusty blue, heavily distressed and faded. Three wide red stripe brushstrokes cut across the flag at the same diagonal angle, bold and painted. A dark diagonal banner crosses the center with "MURPH" in large grey lettering and "HONOR THE FALLEN" in smaller type running beneath it. "26" sits in outlined grey numerals to the lower right of the flag. The Impact Fitness wordmark prints in a tonal grey on the upper back neckline, barely breaking from the navy base.

Results

The rotated flag layout is one of the more dynamic compositions in this portfolio — the diagonal pulls your eye across the whole chest rather than reading top to bottom. Putting "HONOR THE FALLEN" directly on the banner gives this Murph shirt a phrase that sits right next to the name and earns it. Navy was the right base for the muted blue and red palette, keeping the color from going flat. These Murph tshirts are for gyms that treat the day as a tribute, not just a tradition.
