Mortar CrossFit: Murph Never Out The Fight
Murph is not a workout you do for yourself. Mortar CrossFit showed up for Lt. Michael Murphy this Memorial Day, and they wore that on their backs.
Overview
Printed on a black unisex tee, the front keeps it clean with the Mortar CrossFit logo in tan and gold inside a distressed rectangular badge. The back is where the shirt earns its name — a full soldier portrait layered over a subdued gray American flag, with "Never Out The Fight" running vertically in bold gold type. The desaturated flag tones against warm gold lettering give the back serious visual weight without feeling loud. Standard front chest and full back placement, but the layout feels anything but standard.

This shirt is built to be kept. The soldier portrait gives it a memorial quality that most gym shirts never reach. Members who wore it during Murph will likely still have it years from now, not because it says CrossFit on the front, but because of what the back means.
