Murph: Hex Fade

Murph is a hard workout. The shirt should look like it knows that. This concept leans into a bold, athletic aesthetic that feels at home on the floor and holds up long after Memorial Day is over.

Overview

This gym shirt is built on a full performance tee featuring a black to white hexagon fade that runs the full length of the garment. The "MURPH" wordmark sits in a solid grey bar across the chest, printed in dark ink for high contrast against the black upper. A script "26" is placed at the right shoulder, nodding to the year without interrupting the main graphic. The sport utility feel of the hex pattern and the bold chest bar give these murph tshirts a look closer to a game day jersey than a standard event shirt.

Results

The goal here was to make a Murph shirt that crossfit gym members would actually wear again. The fade and hex texture do a lot of work on their own, so the graphic stays minimal and punchy. UNITEE designed this as a concept, but any gym that wants their murph shirts to stand out from the typical Memorial Day tee has a strong starting point right here.
