Olive Drab

Strike Athletics went full field on this one. No red, no blue, just olive on olive and a flag that barely whispers.

Overview

Printed on an olive green racerback performance tank, the front graphic is a wide diagonal flag sweep in a slightly lighter olive and tan — brushstrokes and star field visible but low contrast, blending softly into the shirt. "MURPH" runs vertically through the left side of the flag in tan stencil lettering, and a large outlined "26" sits in the same tan on the right, bold enough to read but never competing with the shirt color. The Strike Athletics scorpion-and-kettlebell logo prints in matching olive on the upper back neckline, fully tonal. Every ink on this shirt is in the same earth-tone family.

Results

Single color family designs on matching garments are one of the harder things to pull off in custom gym apparel and this one does it cleanly. The flag reads as texture more than graphic, which gives the tank a worn-in quality right out of the bag. On a racerback during a Murph workout, the olive drab colorway feels entirely appropriate for the day. These Murph tshirts are built for people who don't need anything to be loud.
