Sand and Stripes

Twenty years is a long time to keep showing up. This tank was made for the people who still do, year after year, without needing to be reminded why.

Overview

The front runs a detailed pencil sketch soldier portrait full height, with MURPH stacked vertically in a halftone dot style type along the right edge and a bold 25 marking the year count low and centered. Two clean red horizontal stripes sit below the figure alongside the full workout listed diagonally in small print: 1 mile run, 100 pull ups, 200 push ups, 300 air squats, 1 mile run. The ink palette of black, red, and slate blue sits naturally on a sand colored racerback performance tank, warm and grounded rather than stark. The gym bear logo lands at the upper back neck in a matching dark tone, proportional and clean.

Results

The sand colorway is doing real work here. It reads desert, it reads worn in, and it separates this one from every black or grey murph tshirt in the pile. Listing the actual workout on the garment turns it into something athletes read before they put it on. These are the gym shirts that get earned and feel like it. A memorial day workout shirt worth keeping track of.
