CrossFit Frederick: The Murph Flag

Every stripe on the back tells you exactly what is coming. CrossFit Frederick made sure nobody shows up to Murph without knowing what they signed up for.

Overview

Printed in a sandy tan on black, the front carries a stencil style "CrossFit Frederick" wordmark in military grade lettering. The back features a distressed American flag where each stripe is replaced with one of the Murph movements — 1 mile run, 100 pull ups, 200 push ups, 300 air squats, 1 mile run — with the gym badge centered at the top. The tan on black palette is tactical and intentional.

Results

The back of this shirt does something most murph shirts don't — it makes the workout part of the design itself. Members wear the movements on their back all day, which is a quiet nod to what they went through together. These are the kind of memorial day workout shirts that veterans and athletes both respect.
