Dog Tag

High Bluff Fitness hung a dog tag from a beaded chain and let it dangle right through the middle of the flag.

Overview

Printed on a black unisex tee, the front carries the High Bluff Fitness mountain-and-barbell logo at the left chest in a cool grey — tonal, restrained, and clean. The back is a full upper-back graphic: a large distressed vertical flag in red and white with no blue fills the canvas, heavily worn and textured. A beaded military dog tag chain runs down the center of the flag from top to bottom, with "MURPH" stacked vertically alongside it in matching weathered white lettering, and a dog tag stamped "2026" hanging at the chain's end. The chain is the detail that makes this shirt different from anything else in the portfolio.

Results

The dog tag concept is one of the most direct design references to Lt. Michael Murphy in the entire collection and it lands because it's executed with restraint — one chain, one tag, no explanation needed. The stripped flag in only red and white against black gives the back graphic a raw, unfinished quality that feels right for the day. These Murph tshirts carry meaning in a detail most people will notice the second time they look, which is exactly how good design should work.
