Firebolt Strength: Ancient Stencil Edition

Firebolt Strength gathers on Memorial Day to do Murph for the ones who deserve to be remembered. They wanted gym shirts that felt like something worth keeping.

Overview

Printed on a white tee, the back runs "MURPH" in a wide runic display font with heavy distressing in forest green, flanked by a small stacked "20" and "25" in cream at the upper right corner. The typeface choice is the story here. It pulls from ancient carved lettering and gives these murph tshirts a weight that most event shirts never come close to. The front left chest carries the Firebolt Strength flame bolt logo above "FIREBOLT STRENGTH" in the same deep green, clean and compact. White garment with a single ink color kept the whole thing focused. No extra elements, no noise, just a name that matters and a font that makes it feel permanent.

Results

The runic letterforms make this one of the most distinct crossfit shirts in the Murph category. On a white tee with forest green ink it reads almost like something carved into stone, which fits the weight of the day better than most designs try to. Firebolt Strength ended up with a gym shirt that is hard to put in a drawer and easy to wear year round.
