Iron Sharpens Iron: Murph Command Bar

Every Memorial Day, this community shows up to do one of the hardest workouts in CrossFit in honor of one of the bravest people to ever serve. These Murph shirts exist to mark that moment for the people who were there.

Overview

The back does the heavy lifting: MURPH in oversized white block letters, bracketed above and below by a set of horizontal rule lines in white and red, with the year dropping beneath in clean spaced type. All of it is printed on a heathered navy tee, which gives the red and white ink real punch without needing much else. The front keeps it tight with the gym's circular badge logo on the left chest. Simple placement, strong presence.

Results

The rule bar layout gives these murph tshirts a structured, almost official feel — like something that was issued, not just ordered. That kind of design travels well outside the gym. These are the crossfit shirts that end up at the cookout, the ballgame, and anywhere else Memorial Day still carries weight.
