PHL Athletics: Rainbow Stroke

Some gyms talk about being inclusive. PHL Athletics made a shirt about it.

Overview

Printed on a black crew neck tee. The graphic is a full spectrum rainbow paint stroke across the chest with the gym name printed bold on top. The brushstroke style feels energetic and hand done rather than corporate. Black garment was the right call since it makes every color in the stripe pop at full intensity. Standard center chest placement keeps the message front and center.

Results

Pride shirts work best when they feel like something a member actually wants to wear and not just a statement piece that sits in a drawer. The bold color stripe against black does that well. Members get to rep their gym and show where they stand at the same time. That combination tends to give a shirt real staying power.
