Third Coast Athletics: Murph Ghost Light

Murph is one of the hardest things most people will do all year. Third Coast Athletics shows up for it every Memorial Day because Lieutenant Michael Murphy deserves that. The shirt is just proof they were there.

Overview

The back features a detailed soldier portrait layered over a faded American flag, the full Murph workout list stacked to the right, a bold year mark, and "MURPH" in heavy condensed block type at the bottom. Everything is printed in charcoal grey on a heather light blue tee, a combination that gives the design a muted, almost vintage quality that stands apart from typical gym shirts. The front keeps it clean with the gym name in simple stacked type at the chest.

Results

The goal with these Murph shirts was a design that doesn't look like it expires on May 26th. The low contrast colorway makes them easy to keep wearing long after Memorial Day, which is exactly the point. Crossfit shirts that look this considered tend to leave the gym and show up everywhere else too.
